- Title origin: I believe that, at the time, I was big on the Rocky Horror Picture Show and so that probably gave me the initial line (after the lyric in the opening song, itself after the movie "When Worlds Collide"). In any case though it's meant to be more literal than to make you think of a parody or anything. ;)

- References: Jurassic Park, "Ranma 1/2" (the references to "macho tomboy"), the Simpsons (thematically only), Moxy Fruvous's "Green Eggs and Ham", and I think that's it!

- Rereading this I am struck by how disturbing it really is. That was my intent of course, but I didn't know I'd fully succeeded this way until rereading it. As I've said before, I adore Honker, and I would never in a million years see him in this role. And yet for some reason I went ahead and wrote a story in which a deranged clone of Honker decides to torture his brother and messily kill his prototype (and he implies that he intends some dismemberment of his parents, too). I feel a need to stress that this is NOT something I think Honker has in him at all; my intent was that the clone does not turn out right, and should never have been able to move at all. However, being mentally malformed, its anger fuels it into motion. The thoughts it has about Honker's family are not Honker's own, but a twisted offspring of Honker's feelings of inadequacy and not fitting into his own family. Not only do I not believe Honker capable of the violence his clone inflicts, I also don't think any part of him hates his family - not even Tank. ;)

- I had to go back and fix a bit from the end, where for some reason I referred to Drake as Darkwing but still had Gos calling him "Dad" in front of Tank. O_o Der... :P

- Despite the sheer darkness of this story (which one reader referred to as "Lovecraftian", thank you very much reader ^_^), Gosalyn is a ray of light in it. She gets all the best lines.

- As I was converting this to HTML and rereading it at the same time, it occurred to me that - having read interviews with Honker's voice actress, and seeing the projects she's been involved in, and all... She would HATE this story. I can't say I'd blame her. <;) Ms. Leigh, if you somehow come across this by doing a search on your name or something, DON'T READ THE FIC! And, and, really I'm not like this most of the time :-/ *LOL*
