- Title origin: This one has a secondary title, "Just what have you been feeding him?!" which is the repeated line in the fic. I kinda like it better than the main one, but I'm not fond of longer main titles. ;) Growth Spurts was just obvious and easy, and I like 'em when they take no thought. :P

- References: Since this one is mostly a comedy, there are naturally a ton of references. A Nightmare Before Christmas, Monty Python's Holy Grail, "Star Trek", Dr. Strangelove OR: How I Stopped Worrying And Learned to Love the Bomb, "The Muppet Show", "Urusei Yatsura", The Volatile Creative Types circa 1996 (shout out to my peeps, yo), Disney's "Aladdin", "The Simpsons", Arachnophobia (thematic only), Zatanna the magician from DC Comics, and Darkwing episodes "Fungus Amongus", "Just Us Justice Ducks", "My Valentine Ghoul", and "Hot Spells".

- This whole series kinda reminds me of the old "Tales From the Crypt" series on HBO, but this one more than any other; I am pleased with this because it's mostly not scary, just funny with its Disney-witch themes, then BAM he goes nuts at the end and tries to tear her into pieces. It may be just me, but the stuff at the end with Archie running in circles and snarling gives me the creeps.

- I'm required by law (well, not really) to give a disclaimer to the fact that I do, in fact, like Darkwing and Morgana together. And that I like Darkwing. What sorta came out in this one is that their relationship is falling apart, and that it's because of him being a jerk; well, despite my stated likings there I actually kinda feel that way. ;) Though what I hope came through in this is that Morgana is like, incredibly hard to communicate with in her own way, and if you read between the lines of the fact that it's through her POV and sentiments, all their arguments are just as much HER fault as they are his. All of this is waaaaay too much explanation for a goofy story like this one; all I really should have said was that even now I love their one-sided conversation on the phone at the beginning, where she starts off all sweet and quickly gets defensive over EVERYthing. Heh heh heh.

- Dr. Strangeduck is a thinly-disguised Dr. Hibbert from "The Simpsons", named after Dr. Strangepork from the Muppet Show who is in turn named for Dr. Strangelove, the Peter Sellers role. I mean, it was obvious. ^_~

- I shall conclude, since I don't have a whole lot more to say about this one, there being not a whole lot I want to rewrite or explain about it, by saying that I really enjoy writing Morgana. I am of the opinion that she's a very complex character with a lot of inadequacies, many of them self-perceived, yet at the same time very confident and strong-willed. As a result I end up angsting her most of the time when I write her to have a large role. Hence my liking of this story, which might have a little bit of angst in it if you blink at the right time. ^_~ Mainly I like the opportunities for writing she gives me, such as making gifts for her relatives for "the holidays", ie Halloween. *G*
