Jack Angel

Well, Jack Angel is probably one of the lesser-known recurring voice actors on Darkwing (as compared to Jim Cummings and Dan Castellaneta, who get all the attention *g*), but trust me on this one, non-believers: he's been around for a while.

I'm no personal researcher type, so I don't actually have a whole lot of biographical information or anything. I don't know his age, what he looks like, or where he grew up. I do know that his website (at least the link for it that Voice Chasers provided) is non-functional. :P

However, I do know that Jack Angel might be mildly obscure in comparison to the "main" names, but he's a mainstay and he regularly does good work. So here's what I can tell ya, based on his voiceographies and stuff. *G*

One of the interesting points about Jack Angel's career is that, to my knowledge, he's one of a comparative few to work for Disney and Hanna Barbera. At least, he is one of a few on this show, which is what I'm going by. Anyway, his earliest works were on Scooby Doo, and Hanna Barbera's "The Superfriends" as Hawkman, the Flash, and Samurai. (Hawkman AND the Flash! Hey, I'm impressed. *g*) Beyond that, Jack was a constant presence in 80s cartoons. The Smurfs, Transformers, G.I. Joe, Jem!, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, DuckTales, TaleSpin... And my personal favourite appearance of Jack Angel's vocal talents was in "Beetlejuice" - the movie, not the cartoon - as the minister at the end who is called up to marry Lydia and Beetlejuice. Heh. :D In the 90s, Jack's career continued and is still going strong, although he has put a good bit of a focus on voice work for video games lately. ^_^

Being as I don't have any personal info at all, I'm unable to make this much more interesting; so here's a heavily-abridged voiceography for Jack, abridged by necessity because he's been in such a huge amount of stuff. :P
